ARCH. TIMOTHY DOLAN & $55 MILLION IN FUNDS

While the head of the Milwaukee archdiocese, New York Archbishop (and St. Louis native) Tim Dolan moved $55 million in “a shell game” to keep the funds from clergy sex abuse victims. That’s the expert opinion of Dr. Jack Ruhl, a Western Michigan University accounting professor “who has done extensive research” on Catholic church finances. Dolan’s move and Ruhl’s critique are laid out in a new 2,700 word piece in the Kansas City-based National Catholic Reporter by award-winning Catholic writer Jason Berry,  who has his own book on how the church handles its funds:  “The Secret Life of Money in the Catholic Church.”

Somebody has to pay for moving all those pedophlic priests from parish to parish. The minute the Catholic Church presents just ONE PRIEST for prosecution instead of protecting them, that is the minute Catholics start coming back to church. Until then the $600,000 they have spent of YOUR money won’t work. Time to be HONEST.

I’ll believe the story when it is reported in some other journal.

    You got that right, Wally!

  • RETIRED1:

Can the Catholic church be tried under the RICO Act for the way it hindered prosecution of numerous pedophile catholic priests that raped the genitals and buttocks of innocent children?!
