A lawsuit against Demo Cong. Russ Carnahan and his wife, Debra, filed by Barnhart, Mo.,-based American Exteriors (and roofers) for unpaid roof repairs to the tune of $17,000 has been settled for an undisclosed amount. The work, according to the suit, the non-union American Exteriors had a signed contract with the Carnahans to reset copper finials and paint the dormers on the family’s house, between Grand Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue.

…and he obviously doesn’t pay his bills either. What a crooked politician.
Carnahan doesn’t seem to like to pay his taxes either. Remember he docked his yacht in Illinois under some fake business name so he would not have to pay personal property tax on it.
Mr. Berger where did you get this information some readers would like to know?
I sure hope those alledged non-union workers aren’t illegal mexican aliens that have invaded this country!!
Just another “politics as usual” B.S. I wish we had a Jerry Brown-type of person here.
He is a candidate for governor in California now. I lived in Santa Monica in 1992 and was in charge of voter registration for his presidential campaign.
He was a strong proponent of a U.S. FLAT TAX.
Maybe Russ could take a few lessons from him as Kathrn says- he has a real problem paying his taxes.
