DONALD TRUMP, TIM KAINE, JAKE ZIMMERMAN

Racial tension and protests have led to a reduction of alumni-giving to colleges and universities. . .Some in military communities have become discouraged by Donald Trump’s offensive remarks about the Armed Forces. D.T. will also head to trial on racketeering charges (Trump U.) in November after the election. . .Trending: Hillary Clinton’s vice presidentIal pick, Tim Kaine, was the top recipient of money from George Soros’s anti-Israel group and Kaine walked out of Benjamin Netanyahu’s historic speech about Iran. Furthermore, in exchange for campaign donations, he appointed a radical jihadi to the Virginia Immigration Commision. Rumors?. . .Cheers for Jake Zimmerman, who despite his loss in the primary for attorney general wrote a sentimental letter with his wife, Megan, to supporters. Here are a few lines: “We fell down, we got up. We are sustained by the power of your kindness, your friendship, your support and the good wishes. The fight for fairness goes on.”

Donald Trump is going to “head to trial on racketeering charges (Trump U.) in November after the election”???

Who’s the source on this? If it’s true, it should be the lead story on every network newscast and front page headline in every major newspaper for the next several days.

Of course, the Orangutan will surely say “This racketeering is rigged, folks.”

Could you PLEASE PLEASE check snopes before you hit send? Or is it your plan to print rubbish about Gov Vp Nominee Kaine full well knowing it is a lie? Which is it Jerry….surely not what you would have done while employed.

  • Eagle says:

The Tim Kaine blurb is a decidedly right-wing distortion of the VP nominee’s stance vis a vis Israel.

Tim Kaine is a friend of Israel, but he’s not a friend of Prime Minister Netanyahu, who has triggered the ire of a lot of American Jews. In an attempt to impugn Kaine’s reputation, conservatives pillory him for his decision not to attend Netanyahu’s speech to Congress on the Iranian nuclear deal. Jerry’s blurb is right in line with their rubbish.

As I understand it, the right-wing coalition that controls Israel is against Kaine. American Jewish Liberals, who support Israel but not its ruling coalition, support Kaine’s positions.

The headline “US Jews on left and right clash over Clinton’s VP pick Tim Kaine” and the subhead “While liberal J Street praises Virginia senator for stance on Israel issues, Republican Jewish Coalition brands him ‘out of touch’” neatly summarizes the issue, which is explained in the lead graph of the July 23, 2016, Times of Israel:

“The dovish J Street immediately championed Kaine, who has long been one of their darlings. Due to his preferred use of diplomacy over force and articulated support for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the organization has in the past listed him as one of their “On the Street” candidates, to whom their supporters can directly donate through their political action committee’s website.”

Mr. Berger’s present distortion and some of his previous hateful anti-Muslim propaganda makes one wonder why he isn’t lauding Donald Trump’s campaign every day.

  • RETIRED1 says:

I expect Clowncar07 or Kitty to post this false story about Kaine due to their lack of logic and intellect but not from this blog. Who has hijacked this blog?!

  • Towncar07 says:

Because the Tired1 is also retarded due to a botched abortion, I think most try and verify, at least by 3 trusted sources that whatever is commented, has some validity. There are websites that cater to BOTH the FAR-left-right with astounding claims that beg for a big laugh before veracity.

Would you believe that Hellary has had another child after Chelsea, but is hidden in an asylum in Canada??? Of course NOT…Just like “W” had a paid”stand in “pilot” whenever he was to fly his fighter jet, because he didn’t bother to learn how to fly.

The fruits and nuts are everywhere…it is up to us to determine validity. And sometimes we have to admit error.

  • Towncar07 says:

…AND because Kaine has hate groups both for and against him and Israel, both sides make a big deal out of their points of view, even tho those views may be suspect.

  • Eagle says:

Hate groups are never “for” their targets.

  • Towncar07 says:

I define “hate group” that supports FOR a position that is questionable…the “against” is self-explanatory.

The hate group FOR a bad position is a twist on logic I agree. Citizen Kaine has them both, as I have read articles that praise the man for being so “centrist”, and others that portray him as another kinder, gentler, Mao.

  • RETIRED1 says:

The republican party is thee biggest hate group in America!

  • RETIRED1 says:

If Jake wants to be fair, he can lower my assessment.

  • Eagle says:

As usual, TC plays a game featuring his own rules, his own definitions, his own facts, all leading to conclusions that only have relevance in his own mind.

  • Towncar07 says:

I call them as I see them…if they disagree with your “facts” then so be it. Had I the time, I could match your “facts” with an equal number or greater number of counter-“facts”…the sheep are shorn from both sides, yours happens to view the sheep as owing his wool, whereas my sheep insist on fair compensation for the “selling” his wool, with minimum TAX attached.

I could metaphor this to death but you see where this has been, is going, and will end up. We will disagree, and the chances of a political conservative victory on THIS BLOG…will never happen.

  • Eagle says:

    TC
When will you ever learn the difference between fact and opinion. Probably never. Obviously you have never taken a course in the scientific method. The more you write that opinions and facts are the same, the more ignorant you appear.

  • Towncar07 says:

I try, really try and make the facts I gather form my opinions. Now total the time and footnote everything I write would be so worthless, and [you] would just smile and say to yourself “whatta chump… going to all that work and I don’t give a crap.” Why, because your perspective is exactly opposite from mine, and you have YOUR facts to make me sound hollow and vapid.

So rather than criticize me, just present your facts as you and your brothers can agree, and the readers can decide what is plausible, and what is just so much hyper-conservative blather that you would not buy EVEN if it were true.

As I said above, in this particular conversational arena, the Liberals are 96%, Conservative 4%..as the late stock analyst Marty Zweig often emphasized…”Don’t fight the tape.”

  • Eagle says:

TC…”you have YOUR facts to make me sound hollow and vapid.”
Eagle…I quote valid facts, and take the time to make sure they are true and not dogmatic BS. You sound “hollow and vapid” because you start with the opinion and too often cannot cite the facts that support your opinion. That’s why “hollow and vapid” opinions result. There’s no there there.

    TC…”and your brothers”
Eagle…what brothers? I operate alone. My opinions are the result of critical thinking, evidently a rather rare attribute in today’s world. I do tend to be socially liberal and fiscally conservative, but that comes from decades of thinking through the issues, and examining the conservative and liberal arguments for each.

    TC…”Liberals are 96%”
Eagle…It’s pretty rare when other posters either disagree or pile on to what we argue about. (I suspect our disagreements basically bore them.) However, no matter how the readership splits in terms of liberal v conservative, what counts is how ones argument is constructed in terms of aprioris cited and the extrapolations drawn from them. I don’t recall any readership elections determining a winner. Whether the website is populated by mainly conservative or mainly liberal readers, the arguments stand on their own merits.

  • Towncar07 says:

…their own merits…influenced by the presentation of the “facts” in order to prove a point one way or the other..By “brothers” I meant the like thinkers.

You have to agree that the overwhelming replies/comments are left-leaning. That’s how I arrived at my numbers..

Good for you and your research. From now on, take my “facts” as OPINIONS, and we can save lots of tome and time.

AND your single biggest cheer leader is Retired1…now that’s an endorsement worth celebrating…all raise their glasses of Syrup of Ipecac and take a spoonful of sugar as the medicine goes down.

  • RETIRED1 says:

I almost feel sorry for Clowncar07 by the way he makes himself look so foolish with his faulty logic.

  • Eagle says:

Two and two equals four is a fact, not an opinion. Gravity is a fact, not an opinion. The sun rises in the east is a fact, not an opinion.

A very strong case can be assembled, relying on Republicans alone, to disqualify Donald Trump from the presidency. This is an opinion that is based on an assemblage of facts. You can present other facts to disprove my opinion but you can’t just invent facts that are untrue. As is said, you are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts. Facts exist independently of our individual wishes.

Here’s the structure: My opinion is _______________. It is based on Fact A, Fact B and Fact C. If you can present a real world Fact D that is counter to my opinion, than that opinion is refuted and must be revised or discarded.

But you consistently fail to back up your opinions with real world facts. Your problem is that all too often you take ludicrous opinions from far right websites and present them to us as your opinions. Since these opinions are not based on actual facts, they are easily shot down as nonsense. Sorry, but it’s a fact that facts are facts.

Finally, if you read the recent posts you will see that there are far more conservative comments being offered then you realize. Yes, I appreciate Retired1’s support, as well as that of anyone else who may agree with one of my positions. And if someone disagrees with one of my opinions, I don’t mind them stating a counter-opinion as long as it isn’t expressed in an eruption of seething hate.

  • Towncar07 says:

NO…this all boils down to a matter of TIME. I wish to make a point, you can do with what you want, and then I exit.

TIME…a very finite concept. Time wasted is lost forever. I am now convinced that I will have more fun, waste less TIME, and contribute to the general welfare of commenting on NON-POLITICAL subjects, and include in that “religion”.

You can have the politics, your mind, and my mind are different. Let’s not WASTE each other’s time.

I like the idea. And it took very little time to express.

  • Eagle says:

I can only hope it is a fact.

  • Eagle says:

    Hey Retired 1….Love it!

  • Towncar07 says:

ANYTHING Ret1 comments on in is in my opinion, shit.

  • RETIRED1 says:

^^^That’s why I comment on you and Kitty because you two are sh…!

  • cynical says:

Could it be that Eagle and Retired1 are one and the same person? Think about it!

  • Towncar07 says:

Good point cynical, but each has a distinctive writing style, with Eagle being loquacious and fact obsessive, while Retired1 is mostly a dirge of negative comments with no writing skill except to either agree or disagree with a previous comment about the posted subject.

Retired1 is a composite of everything that is wrong with this Country, and believes he has been shafted by his lot in life, and lives a dream-like fantasy of living like “George Jefferson” moving’ on up, while he puts everything and most responders down.

He is one sad-sack of a person, in MY opinion, of course. His opinion of himself soars where no one has gone before.

  • RETIRED1 says:

^^^ I don’t need your faux religion as a crutch that can’t even hold you up since you’ve expressed your thoughts of suicide in this forum. My life is so good that I’ve never contemplated suicide and I don’t have nor need your man made religion as a crutch to deal with life.

  • Towncar07 says:

Retired1 I have to restrain myself to even answer your profound mental defects.

My thoughts of suicide was watching a wife I loved for 41+ years over the period of 7 weeks decend into a hell of cancerous consumption, unstoppable and final.

The suicidal thought came and went while holding a 38Sp revolver and thinking I could end this pain fast…then considered that suicide only made it worse. I put the gun back down. I shared those feelings because they cut deep and the loss was almost too much.

You however lack such empathy, as you have proven over your many ventures into the dark and negative side of every thought someone else advances, your negativity is a self-consuming brain eating verbal garbage which you espouse.

You have also subsequently made jokes about my widower status and think it’s funny that I express my sadness which seems to bring you some kind of sick joy. As I have also stated, you NEVER want to meet me, accidentally or planned, as the need for attorneys interventions would then be required.

I also say again that when you were born, the Doctor slapped your mother.

Forget I even exist, because that’s the way I don’t have to be reminded that someone of your mental attitude and grand illusional thinking does exist, and that is a very dangerous example you present.

  • RETIRED1 says:

^^^Your life of privilege and faux beliefs of your superiority has made you one weak individual. Man up,son!

  • Towncar07 says:

^^^with the above response, and with no extension of any kind of sympathy offered, I simply rest my case on the merits of the facts presented.

Retired1, you are one piece of work, and the missing piece will be your damnation.
