MARCH 15 IN HISTORY

1988, NFL’s Cardinals moved to Phoenix from St. Louis; 1971, CBS-TV drops the curtain on “The Ed Sullivan Show”; 1956, Lerner & Loewe’s musical “My Fair Lady” bows on the stage of Broadway’s Mark Hellinger Theater for 2,715 performances; 1956, “Whipper” Billy Watson beats our town’s Lou Thesz to become National Wrestling Alliance champ.

Bidwell was (is) a good man who simply took advantage of a great opportunity in 1988. He was a real asset to the St. Louis community while he was here. By comparison, Kroenke is an opportunistic, disloyal flim-flam man, without a single redeeming quality that can be ascribed to him, in my opinion. GOOD RIDDANCE to him and his ilk. Dollar worship could ultimately take him down!
