MEANWHILE

Listeners to 101 ESPN are still agog over the broadcasts during “Super Week” in Miami when interviews were aired with the likes of: Adam Sandler; Snoop Dogg; Joe Montana; Kurt Warner; DeMaurice Smith of the NFL Players Association; Archie Manning; Floyd Mayweather; Marshall Faulk; CNN’s James Carville; Chase Daniel and Michael Irvin.  All aired on Bernie Miklasz‘s show and “The Fast Lane”. . .

Look for ABC’s “Nightline” to air a feature segment (within two weeks) on our town’s George Noory, host of “Coast-to -Coast AM.”  The show will highlight America’s craving for unusual talk radio fare.  ABC’s Brian Rooney (son of Andy Rooney) is correspondent.  “Coast-to-Coast” airs on KTRS (550), XM Satellite, streams on the Internet and may be heard on 528 radio stations. . .

Jill Haynes of Isle of Capri Casinos, Jeanne D. Howard of Commerce Bancshares, Bryan Daniels of St. Louis College of Pharmacy and Nancy Schnoebelen of the St. Louis county Economic Council comprise the new leadership of the Public Relations Society of America’s local chapter. . .

With savvy on PR and employment, Michael E. Holmes, SLATE exec director, has been elected to the board of trustees of the U.S. Conference of Mayors Workforce Development Council (WDC).  As one of the trustees, Holmes will focus on promoting collaboration among educational, economic and workforce development  and strengthen on-the-job training.
