One of the most respected members of the U.S. Attorneys Office Eastern Dist. of MO, Michael W. Reap, has announced his retirement after a 40-year career there. For the last 25 years, he’s been involved in most criminal cases in federal court. A native St. Louisan, he graduated from SLU School of Commerce & Finance and received his law degree from SLU in 1970. After graduation, he became Assistant Public Defender for the city and in 1972, he accepted the position as Special Attorney with the Justice Department’s Office of Drug Abuse Law Enforcement.
