OSCARS SPOTS SOLD OUT

With less than three weeks to go before the Oscars, ABC has sold out its inventory of ads for the Feb. 24 event.  The average cost per spot is up to $1.85 million.  The Oscars telecast is one of the last remaining reach vehicles along with the Super Bowl and the NFL playoffs.  The three and a-half-hour show audience has been made up in the past of 62 percent female and 45 percent of viewers 18-49, according to Nielsen ratings.  “Family Guy” Seth MacFarlane will host this year’s extravaganza.
