PBS MOST-TRUSTED SOURCE

In a survey, Fox News reached a record low of trustworthiness. Public Policy Polling (PPP) found that only 41 percent of Americans trust Fox News; 46 percent do not in the coveted 25-54 demographic for primetime. PBS was found to be the only television news source more Americans trust than distrust. A plurality of voters distrust NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC. PPP surveyed 800 voters, according to media scribe Dylan Byers.
PPP is well known as a liberal, Democrat leaning polling service. I’d take this with a grain of salt.
So would I…in fact Pew Research has had Fox News in the top 3 for he last 2 years…Fox Business is still trying to find their right mix…and CNN has been on the ropes…also rebranding themselves…and it’s ‘ol MSNBC that is so far left that it fell off the cliff and into the canyon.
Fox is certainly a “Clown” network…The leading “Clown” is O’Reilly! I know, he thinks he is a tough guy interviewer…he’s a joke to me…his most substantive work was hosting “A Current Affair”! That whole bunch..Hannity, Coulter, Ingrahm, Dick Morris (let go this week)and formerly on Fox..the Messiah, Glen Beck…no credibility. As James Taylor said of Karl Rove and republicans..”they’re still fighting the Civil War”…and that’s sad.
Diamonds you have lost a few carats…no matter what you think of Fox News and it’s staff…the numbers show that there is a plurality of viewers that watch the network so regularly that the numbers almost seem stuck in overdrive. Reconsider your opinion, or watch MSNBC, where your ideas will not only be validated, but also encouraged.
diamonds, the story wasn’t about Fox News, it was about all the networks, mostly comprised of liberal Dem organs. None of them, except, PBS had more people who respected them than didn’t. PPP is liberal. It is often accused of liberal bias. It is hired routinely by the Democrat Party. Are you surprised Fox News fared badly? From the story, we don’t know if scored higher or lower than the other networks that are generally favorable to the Dems.
When you only watch FOX NEWS, then one would think your opinion just might be a little biased, huh? Winning a popularity contest of viewers still has nothing to do with a news source being the most trusted. In fact, many viewers of FOX NEWS don’t trust it, they just want to see what the idiot channel is saying every night. Has nothing to do with TRUSTED NEWS SOURCE.
Being the most popular girl in school didn’t have a thing to do with her looks now did it? But could you really trust her?
At least on MSNBC, they don’t fabricate the news and make up their own facts, FOX isn’t known as FAUX News for nothing.
Take the PPP poll with lots of grains of salt. It is left-leaning and pro Democratic. FOX leads the cable news ratings in all categories in all time slots. So smoke that in your pipe. Speaking of cable news, an article in Breitbart today says CNN is ushering Candy Crowley out the door. I only hope they determine if she is a man or woman before the door slams on her fat ugly ass.
Today’s viewers choose their sources for NEWS based on what it is they want to know, learn, or form an opinion about. To say that Fox news is FAUX News is wrong, since if people are being misled there, the numbers would show a declining viewership and sponsors would vacate fast…Fox has remained straight in their reporting, and your interpretation of the reporting may have to do with your political bias, one way or the other. The truth hurts, that’s why in the Art of War, as in today’s viewing choices, the easiest way to influence truth is to trust, yet verify. The easiest way to recognize what I call the “leech mentality” is to listen to many facts presented, form an opinion about these facts using your mental powers of deduction, and then draw a conclusion based on those facts. The easiest way to spot a PHONY…is the discussion instantly turns into a gusher of insults, invective, totally devoid of discussing of any of the presented facts. In fairness, Fox News relied too heavily on the prophecy that Romney was IN, Obama out…did not happen, and Fox did the right thing by acknowledging it’s error…the other sources just gloated, which is how victory is perceived, and the ending has to go four more years to be revealed.

The credibility of Faux News can be gauged in how effective it was in preventing OUR President Obama from being reelected to a second term after railing 24/7 for 4+ years against his every move with outright lies and biased ‘news reports’!! Poor Kitty and Towncar07 had nervous breakdowns after believing the lies from Faux News and seeing OUR President Obama win on Nov.5,2012!!I think it made Kitty crazier!
Retired1…if you read my post, I agreed that Fox blew it…but it’s more like a fight in the back alley, where there is 10 against one, and the one is lucky to get out alive…exactly what the MSM is selling with Obama…pretty soon they will have all believe that the President has Aladdin’s Lamp, and the rub comes in your total loss of freedoms. Eh ?
