Oh, not that Michael Jordan, but the Michael Jordan who did serve as Christian Brothers College High School as president and principal in the 1980s.  He’s coming back to CBC to serve as director of institutional advancement for the 160 year-old high school. In the 1980s, Michael Jordan is credited with helping CBS on many successful fundraising campaigns. He officially begins his new job on June 1.  He’ll replace Tom Bowers as director.  Bowers is entering semi-retirement.  CBC prez Mike England made the announcement.

Bommarito Automotive’s John Bommarito served as emcee over the auction prior to dinner. On hand was his dad, Frank Bommarito, as were: Jamie Komorek “85; Jim Simon “82; Chris Cavato ’87; Gian Vitale ’89; Pujols 5′s David Hanon ’90′; Shaun McDonald ’89; Andy Touchette ’87; Roy Rehme, Jr., ’86, director of alumni relations and annual giving and yesteryore head of the school, Michael Jordan.
