Fey: “Todd Akin claims that women can’t get pregnant from a legitimate rape, because the body secretes hormones. . .You know what? I can’t even finish the sentence without getting dumber.  Mr. Akin, I think you’re confusing rape with competitive gymnastics.”  The comedienne and producer of “30 Rock” spoke Wednesday night at the Center For Reproductive Rights Inaugural Gala.

Tina is much more reserved than I would have been. But then again, this is Missouri, so anything can and usually does happen. Like the woman in her TV commercial, I have not previously voted for McCaskill, but she is clearly the lesser of two evils. How sad!

Jennifer: we truly do have a sad choice, typical for Missouri, but do you want someone who isn’t too bright or someone who thinks she is so much smarter (corrupt & dishonest) and above the rest of us while using everything to her personal advantage (thief)??

McCaskill, the 20th most wealthy person in the 535 member U.S. Congres, goes from evading paying $320,000 in personal property tax on her airplane for 6 YEARS, to directing $40 million in government stimulus money to her husbands 210 low income housing companies (10 of which are “off shore” in the Carribean). Now we find out from an executive “whistle blower” that she had her husband use the U.S. Senate Dining Room as his “closing booth” to sell his tax credits to prospects. The Daily Caller reports: “Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill’s husband used the U.S. Senate Dining Room to cut business deals selling tax credits tied to stimulus money, a whistle-blowing executive inside his company alleged on an audio recording exclusively obtained by The Daily Caller.

“The thing that irritated me about this was he [McCaskill’s husband Joseph Shepard] entertained these outside investors in the Senate Dining Room,” the whistle-blower said. “That’s where he closed the deal.”

The whistle-blower, Craig Woods, was a longtime high-ranking official within Shepard’s business empire, serving first as chief financial officer and then as vice president and chief underwriter for Missouri Equity Investors LLC and JA Shepard Companies.”

This just reported on 10/25/12, more McCaskil monetary manipulations. Now it is up to $60 million taken from the “federal stimulus fund.

“EXCLUSIVE: Sen. McCaskill’s Husband’s Businesses Benefitted From $20 Million in Stimulus Funds”
Submitted by Ken Boehm on Thu, 10/25/2012 – 12:48

An analysis of public records by the National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) has found more than $20 million in federal stimulus funds benefitting real estate projects financially tied to Joseph Shepard, husband of Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill.

Earlier this month, the Associated Press published an analysis, stating, “businesses affiliated with the husband of Senator Claire McCaskill have received almost $40 million in federal subsidies for low-income housing developments during her first five years in office…”

The NLPC analysis released today showed more than $20 million in financial benefits from the federal stimulus law to real estate projects associated with McCaskill’s husband, with all of the $20 million benefitting projects different than those identified by the Associated Press story
