Happy birthday to Cardinal Tim Dolan on his 63rd!. . .A senior Vatican cardinal has told priests not to give communion to politicians who support abortion. Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke warned that legalizing abortion creates “a culture of death”. . .Just booked! Huey Lewis and the News, the rock, rhythm and blues band, is billed to headline Zoofari 2013 at 7 p.m.-midnight at the St. Louis Zoo. The creative black-tie fundraiser will offer guests a chance to graze from more than 50 restaurant offerings and bid on items at the silent auction and then dance under the stars. Honorary chairs are Danny and Susan Ludeman.
And then you have the hospital in Colorado being sued for 5 million for death of pregnant woman and twins. Their defense——-the fetusus are not people. you guys can not have it both ways!
Amazing how these Cardinals and priests know what’s in a man’s heart and soul without ever hearing their confessions. Jesus was lots more tolerant and these guys are supposed to be spiritual leaders. Where was the leadership when it came time to turn in their fellow brethren when they were caught molesting kids? NO – instead they just sent them to a different parish to prey on more kids. As Pancho says: You guys cannot have it both ways!
Once again the church is trying to dictate and influence public policy. Abortions are legal and should continue to be so. Cardinal Burke needs to wake up to the fact that the flock no longer listens to what is dictated. The people are finally starting to use their brains to think for themselves. The days of ruling with an iron fist are over.
This tactic sure didn’t work in trying to sway the catholic sheep to vote for Romney against OUR President Obama!The catholic church needs to focus on putting the multitude of pedophile catholic priests in prison instead of hindering them from prosecution!I’m sure glad that I have the intellect to be an atheist and not follow primitive fairy tales based religions!
